The Managing Director of ODENL. Chijioke has 20 years of diverse experience in engineering, projects and operations, quality, health, safety and environment (QHSE), strategic planning and business development in ten countries across Europe, Africa and Asia. He also had various line management responsibilities at Oando, Transocean, Seadrill and Schlumberger. Chijioke earned a B.Eng. (Electrical & Electronics Engineering) from the University of Benin in 1995 and MBA from Heriot Watt University in 2005. He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Directors and various other professional bodies. In 2009, he was the first Nigeria to manager an ultramodern deepwater drill ship when he was responsible for the operations of the Deepwater Pathfinder drilling for Shell and other international exploration and production companies. He was also responsible for initiating the West African Chapter of the International Association of Drilling Contractors in 2010
He has 20 years’ professional experience gained in various local and multinational companies in the field of Technology, Industry, Building/Construction, Consulting and O&G with 9+ years of offshore and onshore experience in O&G industry focused on deep water drilling, operations and maintenance.
His expertise is on deep water DP and Moored vessels and Semi-Submersible and Drill ships.
Gustavo has strong motivational abilities and experience managing multinational / multicultural teams. He earned a B.Eng. in Industrial Engineering (Production emphasis) from the State University of Rio de Janeiro in 2004
he Asset Manager is accountable for the general condition of the Ensco DS-4 Drill Ship and associated equipment. He has 16 years’ experience in various countries in Technology, construction and Oil & Gas. He was previously on the ENSCO DS-7drillship responsible for compliance to company standards and providing oversight to ensure all systems and equipment on the rig is maintained to a high operational standard. Ensuring compliance with class, flag and state requirements. Actively promoting and complying with company safety programs and being responsible for ensuring adherence to company safety standards. Coordinate and team with the Operations Manager to establish shared goals which optimize the use of Company resources. Goncalo earned a degree in Applied and Environmental Geology from the Science College of the University of London.
he Assistant Rig Manager was formerly the Rig Manager for the OES Teamwork, a swamp barge. He joined OESL in 2009 as Operations Engineer and has won various exceptional individual excellence awards. Femi has 16years experience in offshore drilling ranging from Swamp rigs, Jackups, Semi-submersibles and Drillships. He graduated from University of Port-Harcourt with a B.Eng. (Petroleum Engineering).
